ARTISTS

ARTISTS that have works displayed at Gingerbread are all local to Arenal and Costa Rica. There is a growing art community around the lake and it is our aim to support those individuals that produce fine art as well as cater to those that appreciate it.

LEONA is an accomplished dancer turned fine artist that has a working studio on Lake Arenal. She works mostly on silk with brilliant colors depicting dance as well as flowers and birds. JUAN CARLOS RUIZ is an active acrylic painter and muralist, he received his art degree in San Jose. Juan returned to Lake Arenal to create his own studio called Casa Del Agua on the family farm. SUE ANN RYAN creates multidimensional murals and silk paintings. All the murals at Gingerbread were designed and executed by Sue. She works on commission and has many projects going in different places around the world. Any inquiries about her work can be directed to: sueryan2006@hotmail.com

CORYN WALLEN has been a part of the GINGERBREAD from the beginning months, creating this website,handling the boutique rooms, and taking all but a scant few photos seen here. With a bachelor degree of Science in Art she creates oil paintings inspired from the abundant wildlife here in Costa Rica.
